Hypnosis Doesn't Work Like That!/Humiliated+
An e-book by Metamorpheus, mentioned in Hypnosis Doesn't Work Like That!. It is read by Britney in that story. It is available on the same (unnamed) site where Adi had previously found and reviewed a number of hypnosis files. Britney mentions it in chapter 32, but Adi decides that she'd get more benefit from reading the first and last books in the tetralogy.
The book is the third in a tetralogy about a girl who is tormented by an evil hypnotist. Alternatively, it might be the final part of a trilogy, given that there is some debate about whether the fourth was really written by the same author. In this volume, she is given a series of humiliation tasks to perform, with hypnotic forfeits if she fails to complete them. The character goes through the book relying on her friends to help her complete these dares without wrecking her life and reputation. Some of the dares involve adult baby behaviour, which means that her methods of resisting and hiding them could have been useful to Adi in her own quest to avoid public exposure.
The series is described by many fans as being incredibly accurate with regard to the methods and limitations of the hypnosis used. This is why Britney recommends it to Adi, saying that some of the resistance techniques used in the story could be applicable in real life. Among the commenters on this book is Lady Larsen.
The three books in the series are Hypnotized+, Altered+, Humiliated+. The final book, Un-Potty-Train Me, could either be a direct sequel to Humiliated+, or a fan-made semi-rewrite.
