Big Brother / Little Sister is a story by Angel, written as a writing summer camp project in July 2024.
The title is shown with a comma here to avoid confusing the subpage system.
This story is set in an alternate universe from most of my stories, with the difference of one world-changing scientific development: Retrochondial Recoding (otherwise known as The Treatment™) allows anyone who can afford it to rewrite their DNA and change their body as a simple genetic procedure. This means there are already people showing off how often they can afford to change their hair or eye colour, while options to adjust metabolism are also mostly successful if you can afford them.
The main characters, Laura and Daniel lost their parents at a young age due to an early prototype of the recoding machine exploding. The story revolves around Daniel's use of the Treatment™ to change his sex; becoming Rosie. This has the side-effect of making her younger, so now Laura is the older sister.
